This page contains photos of our addition construction project. I will add photos as the project progresses through different phases of construction. We are adding on 400 square feet by moving the back wall of the house out 10 feet. This will give us a nice formal dining room with French doors and a large bay window and almost double the size of our family room. This will also include glassing in the rear patio to make a sun room.

These photos are of our recent construction project. This should just about complete all construction projects and we can enjoy our spread. Here are some photos of work in progress. These are of the back of the house after Steve Hyatt has removed the patio and sidewalks.
Now he is about ready to pour the concrete for the addition. The sidewalks we be added later.
Here we are with the foundation
and most of the sidewalk poured.
The framing is now started. It is looking very different already.
These photos are showing how it currently looks from inside the kitchen and a view from the back behind the fence. The wood fence will be removed and replaced with a chain link fence moved out about 80 feet. This will leave us a tremendous view from our bay window in the new dining room and picture window in our expanded family room.
These photos are showing the progress with the 4 foot overhangs over the
sidewalks across the back on the house. The last photo was taken from a ladder
just above the roof. It shows the posts and top rail for the chain link
fencing.
And, now the roof is complete. Time to install the paper wrap and windows.
The windows and doors are in and the siding is on. Now on to tear out the interior wall and open it all up.
The painting is done and
the inside is complete. Now we can enjoy the new space we have always
wanted.
Now that the addition is complete, we have moved on to the rear patio. This should be finished rather quickly and we can enjoy the Spring and Summer weather in our new sun room.
